The Reece School, established in 1948 by Ellen S. Reece, stands as one of New York City's oldest approved non-public special education institutions. Initially housed on East 93rd Street, the school moved to its current location at 25 East 104th Street in 2006, adjacent to Museum Mile and Central Park, to accommodate its growing student population.

In 2024, we proudly introduced an Upper School program, at 314 East 110th Street, offering education through 12th-grade and high school graduation. Committed to fostering diversity, The Reece School maintains a non-discriminatory policy, welcoming students of all races, colors, national or ethnic origins, religions, ancestries, genders, gender identities and expressions, and sexual orientations. We extend equal opportunities to all students, ensuring access to our comprehensive range of programs and activities.
